The LST7SFUEX100 is designed for installation in:

• Slots 07 and 08 of the S12700E-4 chassis

• Slots 11 to 14 of the S12700E-8 chassis

Functions
The LST7SFUEX100 serves as the data plane for the entire system, delivering high-speed, non-blocking channels for data switching between service modules.

It comprises the following functional modules:

• Switching Module: Acts as the core of the data plane, providing high-speed channels for data switching.

• Local Clock Module: Supplies the working clock for the chips on the switching module, management module, and monitoring module.

• Power Supply Module: Provides power to the LST7SFUEX100.

Basic Function
Serves as the core of data switching in the S12700E-4 and S12700E-8 systems.

• Memory: 1 GB

• Flash: 128 MB

Redundancy & Backup
Supports N+1 hot standby. LST7SFUEX100 cards in a chassis operate in redundancy mode to enhance system reliability. If one SFU fails, its service traffic is automatically switched to other SFUs, ensuring uninterrupted services.
