The EX2300 is an entry-level, standalone switch for access-layer deployments in branch offices, remote sites, and enterprise campuses. Access ports support 1 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps speeds to accommodate high-performance devices like 802.11ac Wave 2 access points.

Small networks can connect up to four EX2300 switches in a Virtual Chassis configuration, managed as a single switch. The switches are onboarded, provisioned, and monitored via the Juniper Mist Cloud, providing AI-driven automation and improved service levels.

The EX2300 delivers high-performance, reliable Ethernet switching in a compact footprint. Each switch features an ASIC-based Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) with an integrated CPU, providing consistent wire-rate forwarding even with all control plane features enabled.

PoE-enabled models support 802.3af Class 3 PoE and 802.3at PoE+, powering devices such as IP phones, video cameras, WLAN access points, and videophones. With a maximum system PoE budget of 750W, select ports can deliver up to 30W per port.

Certain EX2300 models include multigigabit PoE+ access ports supporting up to 2.5 Gbps, ideal for high-speed 802.11ac Wave 2 access points and growing wireless user demands.
