Features
Aggregate Data Rate up to 1.3 Gbps*
The MR33 features a 5 GHz 2×2:2 radio supporting 80 MHz channel widths and a 2.4 GHz 2×2:2 radio supporting 40 MHz channel widths, delivering a combined dual-radio aggregate frame rate of 1.3 Gbps*. This includes up to 866 Mbps in the 5 GHz band with 802.11ac Wave 2, and 400 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band.
Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO)
Supporting the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard, the MR33 enables MU-MIMO for efficient data transmission to multiple clients simultaneously. Ideal for environments with many mobile devices, MU-MIMO increases total network performance and enhances the overall user experience.
Dedicated Third Radio for 24×7 Wireless Security and RF Analytics
The MR33 includes a dual-band dedicated third radio that continuously scans the environment for RF interference and wireless threats such as rogue access points. This ensures real-time wireless security, RF analysis, and client servicing without impacting throughput or performance.
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacon and Scanning
An integrated BLE radio provides easy deployment of Beacon functionality and visibility of BLE devices within range. This enables advanced location-aware applications and engagement right out of the box.
Automatic Cloud-Based RF Optimization
The MR33 uses real-time, full-spectrum RF data collected by its dedicated third radio to automatically adjust channel selection, transmit power, and client settings through the Meraki cloud — ensuring optimal wireless performance without manual tuning or RF expertise.
Secure Wireless Environments with 24×7 Air Marshal
With its dedicated third radio, Air Marshal continuously scans for threats and mitigates them in real-time without disrupting client service. Flexible policies enable automated rogue AP containment, maintaining high levels of security and performance.
