Features
Aggregate Data Rate up to 1.3 Gbps*
A 5 GHz 2×2:2 radio supporting 80 MHz channel widths and a 2.4 GHz 2×2:2 radio supporting 40 MHz channel widths deliver a combined dual-radio aggregate frame rate of 1.3 Gbps*, offering up to 866 Mbps on the 5 GHz band (802.11ac Wave 2) and 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.
Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO)
With support for the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard, the MR30H provides MU-MIMO for efficient transmission to multiple clients simultaneously. Especially designed for environments with many mobile devices, MU-MIMO allows multiple clients to receive data at the same time — improving overall network performance and enhancing the end-user experience.
Dedicated Third Radio for 24×7 Wireless Security and RF Analytics
The MR30H includes a dedicated, dual-band third radio that continuously scans the wireless environment, identifying RF interference and mitigating wireless threats such as rogue access points. This allows for simultaneous wireless security, advanced RF analysis, and client servicing — all occurring in real time without impacting AP throughput or client performance.
Four Ethernet Ports for External Devices
The MR30H allows connection of up to four wired devices. With one 802.3af PoE-enabled port, devices like IP phones can be powered directly from the access point. This versatile port configuration minimizes cabling requirements in multi-tenant environments while supporting both wired and wireless connectivity.
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacon and Scanning
An integrated Bluetooth Low Energy radio provides seamless BLE beacon functionality and scanning capabilities, enabling location-based applications and engagement right out of the box. The MR30H supports easy visibility and management of BLE devices within range.
Automatic Cloud-Based RF Optimization
The MR30H continuously collects real-time, full-spectrum RF analysis data using its dedicated third radio. This data is sent to the Meraki cloud, which automatically optimizes channel selection and transmit power for peak performance, even in demanding RF environments.
