The Allied Telesis IE200 Series wire-speed Layer 2 switches are designed for industrial Ethernet applications. With a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, they withstand harsh and demanding environments, such as those found in industrial and outdoor deployments.
Device management is available through an industry-standard CLI, SNMP, Telnet, SSH, and the Allied Telesis Autonomous Management Framework (AMF).
AMF, unique to Allied Telesis managed devices, provides simplified device provisioning, recovery, and firmware upgrade management.
Performance
These high-performing, cost-effective switches meet the stringent requirements of modern industrial networks. The robust IE200 Series offers network managers key features including port-based VLANs, IEEE 802.1p, QoS, port trunking/link aggregation, port mirroring, priority queues, and IEEE 802.1X security support.
With support for up to 2K MAC addresses, the IE200 Series is the ideal choice for integrating management into any network solution.
Securing the Network Edge
Protecting data begins with controlling network access. IEEE 802.1X port-based authentication ensures that only authorized users can connect to the network.
Unknown users who physically connect can be automatically placed into a predefined area of the network—allowing guest Internet access while maintaining the integrity of private network data.
Gigabit and Fast Ethernet Support
The IE200 Series SFP ports support both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet Small Form-Factor Pluggables (SFPs), making the series ideal for environments transitioning to Gigabit Ethernet over time.
This flexibility allows continued connectivity with legacy 100FX equipment until full Gigabit upgrades are implemented.
Support for both SFP speeds helps organizations stay within budget while migrating to faster technologies.
High Network Resiliency
The IE200 Series ensures highly stable and reliable network switching with a recovery time of less than 50 ms.
Users can select the most suitable redundancy mechanism or protocol to prevent network connection failures, including Allied Telesis Ethernet Protection Switched Ring (EPSR) and the standard ITU-T G.8032.
Dual Power Inputs
The IE200 Series features redundant power inputs to enhance system reliability. The power inputs are protected against reverse polarity and over-current, ensuring long-term stability.
Configurable Power Budget
On the IE200-6FP and IE200-6GP models, users can configure both the overall power budget and per-port power limits.
This allows fine-tuned management of the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) to match the actual capabilities of the external Power Supply Unit (PSU).
